AHM Preparation
Date: 28th July 2008 (Sunny Monday)

I am now back to blogging again after a long period.
Let back to my topic.Normally when I have the time , i will either be involve in sports or go running.
I will be running the route from my house, Tampines to Pasir Ris which account to a 5km distance.
I clocked a good timing that day.
Normal clocking time achieved: 21-22 mins
My best timing> 20:46.
WHAHAH! Very happy to achieve a good time. The clues to running good timing to me. In my opinion, it must be how you breathe. My tactic is to breathe in through mouth and nose and out through mouth Take in more air for better lung respiration. As for running, the speed must control. I think running with a spur of energy for the 1st km then the rest run with the pace of count 1-2 , big step and continue everytime. It ensures you to speed up abit. Then for up slope, sprint and quicken your footsteps up the slope. Like NS, chiong uphill at a fast speed. In order to save energy.
So this advice doesn't apply to all. It is just my opinion. So for those that is running, take note.
In camp, we must clocked a certain km in preparation of the 21km run at 24th AUG. So stay tune for more update.
